And maybe? Rather than picking locks I think he might be more prone to biting them what with also being proud of his teeth. That's my best guess since he's going through another biting phase on top of that, but maybe it wouldn't be the worst to find some sort of puzzle to keep him entertained before he bites too many things around the loft.
